Who Is Eligible?
You must be an Illinois resident who had a Facebook account at any time between June 7, 2011, and August 19, 2021. You must have appeared in photos, had photos uploaded, or had your face scanned using Facebook's facial recognition technology while residing in Illinois. Proof of Illinois residency during the class period is required.
How to File a Claim
Illinois residents can file claims online through the settlement website. You'll need to provide your Facebook username or email, confirm your Illinois residency during the class period, and provide current contact information. The process is straightforward and takes about 5 minutes. Paper claim forms are available for those preferring mail submission.

Acceptable proof includes Illinois driver's license, state ID, utility bills, lease agreements, or other documents showing Illinois address during the relevant timeframe. Payout Details
