Who Is Eligible?
You are eligible if you owned or used an Apple device with Siri enabled (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple Watch, Apple TV, HomePod, or Mac computer) at any time during the specified class period. Both primary and secondary users of eligible devices may file claims. You do not need to prove that your conversations were actually recorded.
How to File a Claim
To submit a claim, visit the official settlement website and complete the claim form online. You will need to provide information about the Apple device(s) you owned during the class period, including device model and approximate dates of ownership. The claim form is straightforward and typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete. You can also request a paper claim form by mail.
Documentation Requirements
No documentation is required for the basic settlement claim. If you can provide proof of device ownership (such as purchase receipts or device serial numbers), it may strengthen your claim but is not mandatory. Payout Details
Per-device payment: $20-$50 for each eligible Apple device, up to a maximum of 5 devices per household. The actual payment amount will depend on the total number of valid claims submitted. Payments may be higher for claimants who can document specific privacy-related harm. Settlement checks or electronic payments will be distributed within 90-120 days after final court approval.
